Erasteel Vikmanshyttan – High-Speed Steel Precision Strip Production Facility
Hilco Industrial is pleased to offer equipment from the former Erasteel Vikmanshyttan facility, one of the world's leading manufacturers of High-Speed Steel (HSS) and ASP precision strip.
Located in Vikmanshyttan, Dalarna County, Sweden, approximately two hours from Stockholm, the facility specialized in the production of premium cold-rolled precision strip for demanding industrial applications.
Following the closure of the Vikmanshyttan plant in 2026, one of the industry's most respected HSS cold rolling and strip processing facilities was removed from the global supply chain. As a result, manufacturers are facing fewer sourcing options, reduced pricing flexibility, and longer lead times for high-quality precision strip.
This sale presents a rare opportunity to acquire proven production equipment from a world-class facility with a long-standing reputation for manufacturing premium HSS and ASP precision strip.
