30T Heat Size EAF Meltshop with Billet Caster

The Meltshop, featuring an Electric Arc Furnace, Billet Caster, and Auxiliaries, is nearing completion. A strategic shift in investment plans prompted management to pause the project, but a comprehensive technical assessment by DANIELI details the remaining work. With proposed modifications and the addition of a Ladle Furnace, the Meltshop is poised to achieve a production capacity exceeding 230,000 tons per year, with a tap-to-tap time of 55 minutes.
